How it works

Every card on Graded Market is a graded slab sitting in a European vault. Here's exactly what happens between the moment you click "buy" and the moment your order is final.

  1. 01

    Browse only verified listings

No raw cards, no drafts, no placeholders. Each listing carries a real certification number from PSA, BGS, CGC, PCA, ACE, TAG or SGC, linked to the grader's own lookup tool so you can verify the cert yourself in one click.

The browse page supports filtering by TCG, grading company, grade, set and price. The vault country is displayed on every card so you know where the slab physically is before you add it to your cart.

  2. 02

    Verified sellers, no exceptions

Sellers go through Stripe Express KYC (identity, business registration, bank account) and declare a physical vault address for their inventory. Until that's done, their listings stay offline.

Money never touches a seller's bank account directly. All payments flow through Stripe Connect with the platform as the merchant of record, which is what makes refunds and disputes fast and enforceable.

  3. 03

    Checkout through Stripe

We never see or store card numbers. Stripe handles the payment in a PCI-DSS certified environment and supports the usual EU methods: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA, Klarna where available.

As soon as the payment succeeds, the funds are tagged held in escrow on our platform balance. Nobody — neither the seller nor us — can withdraw them yet.

  4. 04

    Tracked, insured shipping

The seller has 72 hours to hand the parcel to the carrier with a tracking number and full insurance. Until delivery is confirmed, loss and damage are on the seller, not on you.

Intra-EU shipments are duty-free. For imports from outside the EU we flag customs and VAT on the listing before checkout so there are no surprises at your door.

  5. 05

Escrow until delivery + 3 days

Your money stays on the platform balance for the whole shipment. Three days after the carrier confirms delivery, the escrow releases automatically and the seller is paid. If you open a dispute during those three days, the funds stay frozen until support resolves it.

    Typical timeline

    1. Day 0 — Payment captured, funds held by Stripe.
    2. Day 0–3 — Seller ships with tracking.
    3. Day 3–10 — Carrier delivers to your address.
    4. +3 days — Escrow releases, unless a dispute is open.
  6. 06

    If something goes wrong

Damaged, wrong card, never arrived — open a dispute from your order page within the 3-day escrow window. The order moves to DISPUTED, the seller is notified, and our support team arbitrates using:

    • Pre-shipment photos the seller is required to upload
    • Unboxing photos or video from you
    • Carrier tracking and delivery confirmation
    • A re-verification of the cert if authenticity is challenged

If the decision goes your way, you're refunded from the escrow balance directly. No chargeback, no waiting on the seller's goodwill.

Common questions

Can I buy a raw, ungraded card here?+
No. Graded Market is exclusively for slabbed cards with a verifiable cert number.
Which grading companies do you support?+
PSA, BGS (Beckett), CGC, PCA, ACE, TAG and SGC. Each cert has a direct verification link on the product page.
How much does it cost to sell?+
Sellers pay a commission per successful sale — tiered from 8% down to 3% based on sales volume. Stripe fees are absorbed by the platform. No listing fees, no monthly fees.
What about customs and import fees?+
Nothing for intra-EU orders. For imports from outside the EU, VAT and handling may apply — we flag the amount on the listing based on the vault country and your delivery address.
Why 3 days of escrow after delivery?+
It gives you time to open the parcel, inspect the slab and raise an issue before the seller is paid. Short enough to keep sellers happy, long enough to catch problems.
How do I become a seller?+
Apply through the seller registration page. You'll complete Stripe KYC and register your vault address. Approval usually lands within 24–48 hours.
